Washington starter Williams won his second game of the season by allowing one run in five innings. For Washington, Derrick Law had two scoreless innings, Dylan Floro had one scoreless inning, and Matt Barnes had one scoreless inning.

Starting pitcher Snell, who made his San Francisco debut, allowed three runs in three innings.
